Community Event: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
Serving Idaho’s Frontline Professionals – LivingWorks ASIST
This training will provide the opportunity to bring First Responders (Both active and retired), Military Service Members, Veterans, Spouses, Mental Health Professionals, Community Leaders and Chaplains or other religious leaders, together with the purpose of equipping them with invaluable Suicide Prevention Training. This will increase the number of individuals with Suicide Prevention training and skills within our community, which will in turn, ultimately save more lives, as well as give them a greater ability to offer peer support to their colleagues.
A collaborative effort by: Nampa Police Department, Courageous Survival, the Idaho American Legion, Southwest District Health & National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI Idaho).
