Basic Training for Interpreters in Health Care
March 1st and 8th, 2022 (A Two-Day Virtual Course) 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This course is designed for bilingual individuals who are fluent in English and another language. Participants will gain extensive knowledge of the National Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice and acquire hands-on interpretation skills and practice. Participants will be tested on ethics and medical interpretation skills in the foreign language. Successful candidates will receive a certificate as a qualified medical interpreter. All participants will receive a certificate of completion for this medical interpretation course.
