Community Event: Community Health Worker (CHW) Core Competencies Fall 2021 Hybrid

Idaho State University is offering training for anyone interested in becoming a Community Health Worker. The cost of 13 week CHW core curriculum training is $175 and includes a choice of five (5) health specific modules.
The CHW course is offered in a hybrid online web-based classroom beginning September 7th from 6:00 – 9:00 PM (MST). The class will meet in live online classroom three times during the thirteen weeks; Tuesday evenings—September 7th, October 19th, and November 30th, see schedule attached. Weeks 2-6, 8-12, students will be working asynchronous (self-paced) and will also be required to choose from 20+ available asynchronous Health Specific Modules and must complete five by end of class. Students who successfully complete the training and complete the course evaluation will receive a certificate verifying course completion. Continuing Education credits are available for a small additional cost.
