Idaho State University is offering training for anyone interested in becoming a Community Health Worker.  The cost of 13 week CHW core curriculum training is $175 and includes a choice of five (5) health specific modules.

The CHW course is offered in a hybrid online web-based classroom beginning September 7^th from 6:00 – 9:00 PM (MST).  The class will meet in live online classroom three times during the thirteen weeks; Tuesday evenings—September 7^th, October 19^th,  and  November 30^th, see schedule attached.  Weeks 2-6, 8-12, students will be working asynchronous (self-paced) and will also be required to choose from 20+ available asynchronous Health Specific Modules and must complete five by end of class.  If you have questions, please contact Suzanne Shemwell at 208-373-1764 or email shemsuza@isu.edu.

Students who successfully complete the training and complete the course evaluation will receive a certificate verifying course completion.  Continuing Education credits are available for a small additional cost.
