Community Event: Do You See Me? Silence vs. Voicelessness Learning Community
This event is part of an event series focused on racial trauma and how providers can create safer environments for their clients. This session will help participants learn about race-based trauma and how to recognize symptoms in clients, while assisting them in recovering their authentic voice and self-expression.
Eligible participants will meet the following requirements:
– Be members of the mental health/behavioral health workforce in Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, or Washington (HHS Region 10)
– Be committed to attending the whole series
– Have access to computer/web camera/audio
– Apply for the event series by Friday, March 22, 2024.
When: Monday, April 15, 2024 | 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. MDT
Participants can earn up to 8 CEs by attending the event series
