Community Event: Housing Resource Festival
St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho, NAMI CDA, and The Region One Behavioral Health Board are combining forces to bring our area the First HOUSING RESOURCE FESTIVAL – How to Stay Housed…
The purpose of this event is to provide information to the Asset Limited, Income Constrained and Employed (ALICE), and currently unhoused populations, about resources available to help them in our community – especially as they relate to mental health and housing, as well as overall wellness.
The event will be held at City Park in CDA on July 9th, 2022 from 10am until 2pm. There will be live music, free hotdogs, informational and vendor tables. Organizers will be signing interested parties up for housing help at the event and providing some activities and resources for children as well. There will also be an “In Our Own Voice” presentation provided by NAMI.
Organizers would like to offer anyone interested in attending a free table; there are additional promotional perks for those that make a monetary donation. The event could also use volunteers to help with set-up, take-down and overall information sharing/hand-holding on the day of the event.
