Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma have been shown to impact cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional development and are a predictor for negative health outcomes in the future. In response to the needs of the community and known service gaps, this conference aims to improve the capacity of behavioral health and crisis systems in Region IV to provide integrated, trauma-informed services and patient-centered models of care.
