The Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® trains community members to not only help themselves but to help others within their wider social network. The goal of CRM is to create trauma-informed and resiliency-focused communities that share a common understanding of the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system. CRM skills help people understand their nervous system and learn to track sensations connected to their own well being. The primary focus of this skills-based model is to reset the nervous system’s natural balance. Using the wisdom of their own bodies, people experience rapid relief from stress-related symptoms, as well as an increased sense of control over future wellness.

The program introduces the model and guides participants in putting it to use for themselves. There will be a virtual day two scheduled later this spring to help participants learn how to guide others in CRM. The facilitated training includes lunch on the in-person day(s) as well as training materials.
