International Overdose Awareness Day
Brought to you by Idaho Harm Reduction Project and Peer Wellness Center
Meet at the Idaho Capitol steps for an evening of speakers, tributes, activities, resources, and support. Education sessions will include Naloxone training and overdose prevention education. Participants can listen to local leaders speak on the Idaho Good Samaritan Law, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and harm reduction in Idaho. In Cecil D. Andrus Park, visit booths from community partners in substance use treatment, recovery, harm reduction, and emergency housing. Overdose rescue kits and supplies will be distributed for free (while supplies last).
American Sign Language interpretation and Spanish translation will be available.
