Medicare mimics a private insurance plan and has deductibles and co-pays. It helps cover outpatient and inpatient mental health care, as well as prescription drugs you may need to treat a mental health condition. Medicare is structured into four parts, and you may be eligible for one or more of the parts. Medicare Part B helps cover mental health services and visits with these types of health professionals (deductibles and coinsurance may apply).
