Ambitions of Idaho is looking for compassionate, responsible individuals to work one on one with a person in need of support. Must already have taken and passed the test for Idaho Certified Peer Support Specialist!! A Certified Peer Support Specialist is a person with significant life-altering experience. Somebody who has experienced drug addiction, alcohol addiction or a mental health diagnosis. You will help individuals that are struggling with mental health, psychological trauma or substance use. Typically you would start out part-time to make sure to be trained properly and then have an opportunity to grow to full time if desired.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current certification as a peer support specialist through the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare(DHW) is required. This means you must hold full certification or a 6 month certifications and be working toward obtaining the required 100 or 200 hours of work/volunteer based on your education.

Wage is $17.00 an hour
