About the Presenter:
Logan Dennis (he/him), is a Health Policy Research and Communications Associate with Idaho Voices for Children (IVC). He has a Bachelor’s degree in International Political Economy from the College of Idaho, and a Master’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Logan has been working on health policy issues in Idaho for several years, and through his role at Idaho Voices for Children he has been able to help make Idaho’s health care system more affordable and accessible for the people in our state who need it the most.
Logan helped coordinate Close the Gap Idaho which was responsible for passing and funding Medicaid expansion through Idaho’s state legislature. At IVC, Logan has conducted research on Medicaid and other state and federal health care programs, assisted policymakers in defeating attacks on health care, and helped advocates learn how to engage in the policy process. He is thrilled to join Empower Idaho for this presentation to speak about Medicaid and mental health.
